Dorothy "Dodie" Levy was born around 1933. She had two sons, Mark and Josh Fraser. It is unclear as to whether that marriage ended in divorce, or in his death from a car accident? On her son Josh's marriage certificate her maiden is listed as Dodie Georgette Fraser, and it says she was born in Missouri.

She then was married to Michael Landon (Eugene Orowitz) from 1956-1962. She married Dr. Peter Lake in 1971. 
She died on July 5, 1994, in California at the age of 61. 
Dodie was a classy woman and a stunning beauty. She was greatly loved by her friends and family.

was known as an American fashion icon. Her childhood was spent in Queens, New York. She did both her schooling and graduation while staying in New York. Dodie had an extremely colorful childhood. Her passion for acting was identified by her parents at a very young age. She took part in several school plays and was known to be a sweetheart to her friends.

After her primary schooling, she joined theatre classes and soon became a well-known name in the world of theatric arts. Levy performed in various shows and was a favorite among her fans. Soon, she started writing stories that were adapted into plays.
Dodie had a brief career in acting which didn’t last very long. She was spotted in some theater plays and some soap operas. 

Marriage and Divorce
Dodie was known to be a lady of charismatic beauty. She had a large number of admirers and suitors. Her first marriage was a failure. They had one children together, after which their marriage came to an abrupt end for unknown reasons.

Michael Landon was born on October 31, 1936 to Eli Maurice Orowitz and Peggy O'Neill. Michael's father died in 1959 and his mother's death occurred in 1982.

They married on March 11, 1956 in a private ceremony attended by her friends and family.

Mark was always Michael Landon's oldest son. They were always in a relationship. Mark followed in his father's footsteps, he was an actor and singer. He acted in three films and on various occasions in episodes of the series that Michael Landon produced or co-produced.

After his son Michael's wedding, Eli Orowitz accepted his son and daughter-in-law's invitation to come live with them for Christmas 1957. Dodie's house was large and they could share it and enjoy a peace that Eli appreciated. .
Eli usually had lunch at a restaurant next to the theater he managed. Eli was a man of simple and constant habits, he would come in, sit down and say: "I'm going to try the soup of the day." He would take a sip and say, "It's very good." That day, as he started his lunch, Eli took a sip of his soup and called it "good." and he collapsed with a fatal heart attack.
It was the first time Michael Landon experienced the death of a part of himself.



Doddie Michael divorced:
Dodie and Michael adopted another kid named Jason, 10 months before their divorce. Michael and Dodie got divorced on December 1, 1962. After her divorce, Dodie focused on bringing up her sons and tried leading a quiet life with her kids. Dodie won the custody of the kids but she couldn’t handle all the responsibility alone. This led to her loss of adoption rights over Jason and his custody was taken away from Dodie

A few years later, Dodie got remarried. Her third husband was named Peter A. Lake. Dodie’s third marriage occurred in 1971 when she was 38. She was known as Dodie Landon Lake thereafter and spent the rest of her life in Palm Springs.

Michael Landon passed away in 1991 at the age of 54. He died from a fight with cancer. 

Dodie's son Mark passed away in his home at the age of 60 in May 11, 2009. When the Los Angeles Police force examined the scene, they found no evidence of foul play.

Aquel día al empezar su almuerzo Eli tomó un sorbo de su sopa y la calificó de "buena". y se desplomó con un ataque al corazón radical.
Fue la primera vez que Michael Landon vivió la muerte de una parte de sí mismo.


Doddie Michael se divorció: 

Dodie y Michael adoptaron a otro niño llamado Jason, 10 meses antes de divorciarse. Michael y Dodie se divorciaron el 1 de diciembre de 1962. Después de su divorcio, Dodie se centró en criar a sus hijos e intentó llevar una vida tranquila con ellos. Superior Court Judge Fred Metheny united the couple in matrimony in the second wedding ceremony performed at the 4Vi-year-old medical center. Lawrence A. Cone, M.D., chief of Infectious Disease and Immunology at EMC, gave the bride away, and his wife, Mary, was matron of honor. Theodore Kurze, M.D., Dr. Lake’s former neurological surgery professor at the USC School of Medicine, was best man. Mrs. Lake, the daughter of Carroll Fraser of Clayton, Mo,, presently of Palm Springs, wore a white caftan trimmed in blue. Dr. Lake wore his hospital green scrub suit accented with a boutonniere given by his bride, who received a gold ring from the bridegroom. Dr. Lake, a prominent desert neurosurgeon before giving up  

His practice due to illness, is the son of Lillian Lake of New York City and presently of Palm Springs. Alex Dreier, famous newsman turned actor and a trustee of EMC, toasted the newlyweds with champagne. In addition to the bridegrooms’s mother and the bride’s father, several friends and wellwishers attended the brief wedding ceremony. They included Bridgette Laaf, Dr. Kurze’s fiance; Craig L. Fischer, M.D., head of the Department of Pathology and director of Laboratories at EMC, and his wife. Sandra; motion picture and television director Alan Reisner; Alec and Shirley Klein, the bridegroom’s uncle and aunt; Mrs. Lois Hyatt, staff nurse at EMC, and Mrs. Maryelou Lawliss, Dr. Lake's assistant. The new Mrs. Lake has two sons by a previous marriage, Josh and Mark Landon. Dr. Lake also has two children by a previous marriage, Ethan, a son, 7, and Aden, a daughter, 6, The day before the wedding Dr. Kurze was the keynote speaker at the EMC board of trustees’ annual meeting, held at the exclusive Springs Club in Rancho Mirage. PALM DESERT - Peter A. Lake. MD. Eisenhower Medical Center's first director of Medical Education and Research and the youngest neurosurgeon to have been graduated from the USC training program in neurosurgery, died Monday after a long illness Dr Lake, 36, was praised last April by his former professor at USC, Dr, Theodore Kurze, for his initial development of EMC’s Office of Medical Education and Research: “The fact that within these very few years the Eisenhower Medical Center has now become nationally recognized as an institution for medical education is a tribute to his dedication and capability.” Graveside services will be held at 9 a m. Wednesday at Desert Memorial Park, 69-920 Ramon Road, Palm Springs. Dr. Lake at one time was the only practicing neurosurgeon in the Coachella Valley. He was widely respected for his surgical skills and compassion in dealing with virtually every patient in the valley suffering from traumatic head injury, seizure or stroke. Born in New York City. Dr Lake was reared in Florida and attended the University of Florida and Harvard Undergraduate Schools and the University of Miami Medical School.
He spent six years at the nation's largest hospital, L. A County-USC Medical Center, his last two years as senior resident in the Division of Neurosurgery. Illness forced Dr Lake to give up his active practice in 1974, although he continued to serve as an assistant clinical professor of neurosurgery at the USC School of Medicine and instructor in neurosurgery at the Loina Linda University School of Medicine Dr. Lake's interests included fiction writing. He had recently completed a novel entitled "Leffert's Disease” and had served as a technical adviser for the Marcus Welby, MD, television series. 
On April 15. Dr. Lake and Dodie Fraser Landon were married in an EMC patient suite in a ceremony attended by several relatives, close friends and hospital personnel. Dr Lake is also survived by his children from a previous marriage, a son. Ethan, 7. and daughter, Aden. 6, and his mother, Lillian Lake, of Palm Springs. 
His family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the EMC Medical Education and Research Fund"

Es el momento de dar las gracias a Mark Landon por el trabajo que sostubo a la largo de su vida de recopilar información respecto a las actividades de su padre.

Hay que reseñar que Mark siguió los pasos de Michael en dirección a ser actor de cine/televisión, pasos que su padre le ayudó a enfocar. 


Mark, nuestro amado Mark, me es muy fácil hablar contigo, expresarte mi gratiud por tu acompañar, por todos estos años, llevamos juntos des del 2018, en mi limitada visión de personita que viste y rueda. Tienes mucha paciencia y de tí hemos parendido todos los que en este viaje al amor, nos dimos cita para reencontrar lo mejor de cada uno en el otro.
